So I&#039;ll put up a little transects 101 to explain what they&#039;re about and why and how I&#039;m doing mine in the Davis Mountains.</description>

When you have time, could you do a post explaining how transects work, and what &quot;runnning 20 points each morning&quot; means?  As a non-biologist, I&#039;m unfamiliar with the terminology but interested in learning more.  I&#039;ll bet your other non-biologist readers are too.
